🔹 Do I need to use a primer before applying waterproof paint?
It depends on the type of paint. Some waterproof paints can be applied directly, but if the wall has high moisture absorption, it is recommended to use a primer to improve adhesion.
🔹 Can the paint be applied directly to damp walls, or do I need to treat the surface first?
It is not recommended to paint directly onto damp walls. The surface should be dried first; otherwise, moisture trapped inside can cause the paint to peel off.
🔹 How long does it take for the paint to fully dry and be ready for use?
Typically, it takes 2 – 4 hours to dry on the surface and 24 – 48 hours for it to fully cure.
🔹 Here’s the standard mixing formula for the paint to be applied over larger surfaces.
300ml Box:
10% water with 300ml → covers approximately 7 - 10 m², with good coverage.
20% water with 300ml → covers approximately 12 - 17 m², with good coverage.
30% water with 300ml → covers approximately 20 - 25 m², with less coverage.
1 Liter Bucket:
10% water with 1 liter → covers approximately 25 - 35 m², with good coverage.
20% water with 1 liter → covers approximately 35 - 45 m², with good coverage.
30% water with 1 liter → covers approximately 45 - 60 m², with less coverage.
